As someone who doesn't want to dedicate all my leisure time to 1 live service game I appreciate how Embark considers all different kinds of players. I jump into The Finals maybe once a month and it's always a good time. I hope they can pull off a similar thing with Arc Raiders.
Embark is fascinating. A lot of mega studios with folks with AAA pedigree were created at the same time, and I think Embark are the only ones achieving real traction and success, not only with one game but multiple games. I think it deserves an even deeper look, at tools, pipelines, decision making... I also think there is an interesting piece about leadership and culture, because I worked with many of these guys at DICE, and they are great talents, but I am 100% convinced they would NOT have been able to do this under EA...

Oh, you’re right. There’s a real deep dive I want to do after this. Or maybe a series of talks.
Can’t seem to find this ep on Spotify, is it just me or does anybody else have the same problem?
Bear with. I didn’t realise the scheduling had failed!
Should be there now
