Battlefield 6 reclaims No.1 as EA dominates the European charts
Ninja Gaiden 4 and The Outer Worlds 2 debut in the revenue charts
Battlefield 6 has retaken the No.1 spot in the European charts, with Pokémon Legends: Z-A dropping to No.3.
The shooter takes the top spot despite a 55% fall in sales week-on-week. The game is closely followed by EA Sports FC 26, which means EA holds No.1 and No.2 this week.
This data is courtesy of GSD. It covers digital sales from most major game companies, and all physical retail sales, too.
EA also has the highest charting new entry this week, with Plants vs Zombies Replanted coming in at No.6 (the game is No.11 in the revenue charts due to its cheaper price point). The publisher also ran some aggressive price activity on Titanfall 2 and Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, with the two games returning to the charts at No.8 and No.10 this week.
Other new games this week included Ninja Gaiden 4 from Xbox, which didn’t make the Top Ten in the unit charts (but it is No.6 in the revenue chart). The game was available on Xbox Game Pass, which may have impacted its unit sales, at least on the Xbox platform. Xbox also released the premium edition of The Outer Worlds 2 last week, which reached No.9 in the revenue charts but didn’t make the unit charts. The game’s standard edition will be in next week’s chart.
As mentioned, last week’s big new release Pokémon Legends: Z-A drops to No.3. The game saw a hefty 84% fall in sales week-on-week. It’s worth noting that Nintendo doesn’t share digital data with the charts, so this is physical units only.
