Football Manager 2026 is the series’ biggest launch in European chart history
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment comes in at No.5
Football Manager 2026 is No.1 in this week’s European charts, delivering the biggest first week of sales since the charts began in 2017.
The series unexpectedly took a year off last year as Sega and Sports Interactive attempted to reboot the series with a new engine. The results so far have been disappointing, with the game’s rating being ‘Mostly Negative’ on Steam.
However, the management sim, which also released on console platforms, seems to have done well commercially. This doesn’t include people who have played the game via Xbox and PC Game Pass.
The other new game in the charts this week is Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment for Nintendo Switch 2. The action game’s launch is well below that of its predecessor, 2020’s Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity for Nintendo Switch. Based on our estimates, launch sales are around 75% lower.
Returning to the charts this week is Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 by Warhorse Studios and published by Deep Silver. The game rose 40 places to No.49, driven by a 40% price discount last week. A new piece of DLC for the game just dropped this week.
Elsewhere, Battlefield 6 is down one place to No.2, EA Sports FC26 drops a spot to No.3, while Pokémon Legends: Z-A slips a position to No.4.
