God of War leads strong PlayStation State of Play showcase
In Brief: PlayStation delivered an impressive State of Play showcase last week, headlined by two God of War announcements, a John Wick game, plus some returning fan favourites.
The platform holder revealed it was remaking the original God of War trilogy for PS5, and then surprise launched a 2D action adventure game called God of War: Sons of Sparta. Other key announcements included a new John Wick game from Saber Interactive (also coming to Xbox and PC), a new Korean-based action game called Project Windless, and a sequel to Kena: Bridge of Spirits called Kena: Scars of Kosmora,
In terms of returning classics, the showcase featured a new 2D Castlevania game called Castlevania Belmont’s Curse, a remaster of Legacy of Kain: Defiance, a new Metal Gear Solid Collection, plus a 30th anniversary edition of Rayman.
