Amazon cuts back games as part of wider restructure
In Brief: Amazon has cut back on a ‘significant amount’ of its AAA game development. The cuts are primarily around its MMO projects, with two titles in particular affected: New World: Aeternum (released in 2021) and the unreleased Lord of the Rings MMO.
