Iconic Xbox exclusive Halo heads to PlayStation after 24 years
In Brief: In a symbolic representation of the changing face of the console market, Halo: Campaign Evolved – a remake of the original Halo story with new co-operative modes - will launch on PlayStation 5 (alongside Xbox Series S and X and PC) in 2026.
Key Facts:
The first Halo, released in 2001, was the original system seller for Microsoft’s Xbox console. The first five titles in the series, (which were developed by Bungie) played a major role in establishing the Xbox platform and the Xbox Live service.
